HOSEMATE TEAM THINKS PINK

The local hydraulic hose and fittings business in Kalgoorlie, WA, well-known for service and their on-site hose manufacturing containers around the State, has prettied up one of its containers in pink.

Hose Mate founder and Director Ben Holder says the company will be placing the all-pink container at a local workshop facility in support of a local women’s charity.

“This container will be in the MLG Oz workshop facility in the mining town of Kalgoorlie, WA and it will be painted pink to support the Goldfields Women’s Health Care Centre,” Mr Holder said.

The GWHCC has been supporting local women and their families for more than 35 years, providing valued services such as counselling, well women’s clinic, FDV peer support groups, and a suite of holistic services  to improve their health and wellbeing.

“We wanted to keep the money local to the Goldfields Region and support a local charity that provides much needed services to women and their families,” Mr Holder said.

“A total of 10% of all proceeds from the pink container will go to supporting the GWHCC on a monthly basis and, in future, we will be looking at further supporting other local charities.”

Gloria Moyle – CEO GWHCC has said.

“The funds from this project will be used to run workshops to increase self-confidence for disengaged young women and vulnerable women in the Goldfields”.

Proudly WA-owned and operated, Mr Holder started the business in 2016 and is a leading supplier of Taipan hydraulic hose, fittings, and adaptors.

“The main purpose of the hose container is an on-site manufacturing facility for hydraulic hoses,” Mr Holder said.

“It gives client the ability to manufacture their own hoses as and when required, This in turn leads to reduced downtime and higher efficiency, as the client can repair their machines and get back to work quicker.

“Inside the container is a hose press, hose saw, rolls of hose, associated fittings, assembly bench, and lighting.

“They can select what thread types they need, assemble the hose and install back on the machine and get their equipment going again.”

There is currently 16 of these Hose Mate on-site containers around WA.
